In brief: Amitrypline

Amitrypline or ellavil can cause anticholinergic side effects and cause dry mouth and constant thirst.

In brief: Amitriptyline

Dry mouth is a common side effect, making one feel thirsty.
Dehydration is not listed as an official side effect, but some patients have claimed it. Of course, get evaluated for other causes of chronic dehydration like diabetes.
