If you have big clots with your periods, could there be more clots stuck inside?

In brief: Possibly

If you are passing large clots, you may have a thickened endometrium (inner lining of uterus), or a uterine fibroid.
This should be checked out by a doctor. Passing clots is also a symptom of hormonal imbalance, specifically and thyroid problem and/or imbalance of estrogen and progesterone, a term called estrogen dominance. These issues can be present despite normal blood tests.
