In brief: Wisdom teeth

Sometimes they can come and go.
If the tooth is partially in-you can get infection around it with food getting under it-that hurts! if the wisdom tooth is right up next to the molar in front of it it could possibly resorb the tooth that is in your mouth and then you could lose 2 teeth-see your dentist and get an x-ray asap.

In brief: Yes, no, maybe

It all depends. See a dentist to find out why it is hurting, if it is likely to resolve on its own or if it needs to be treated or removed.
This is not something that we can diagnose over the internet as each case is different.

In brief: More info needed

What is the pain due to? Extraction? Filling? Eruption? Cavity? Without this info no correct answer can be given.
See a local dentist for either treatment or follow up care on treatment that has already been provided.

In brief: Temporarily

Temporarily. Will usually return.
Most of these wisdom teeth require extraction. For best results with wisdom teeth, make sure you are evaluated and treated by a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon.
