In brief: Anywhere !

Endometriosis can recur anywhere in the body.
An MRI may give a better test for this mass as long as the radiologist knows your doctor is looking for endometriosis.

In brief: Unlikely

Its possible, but that would be extraordinarily rare.
I've never heard of such a thing.
