Can triamconolone cream be used for hemorrhoids?

Yes, briefly. Triamcinolone is a long-acting corticosteroid used for a variety of problems. It is much stronger than the usual type of corticosteroid that is included in hemorrhoid creams, which uses Hydrocortisone (anusert, anusol, proctosol). Although both drugs reduce itching and swelling due to hemorrhoids, triamcinolone is not intended for this use but probably ok to use once or twice while waiting.
