In brief: Yes and no

Anything- your own natural teeth, porcelain veneers, ceramic crowns, tooth colored bonding are all prone to collect external stain.
The higher the surface polish & the more you brush after eating, the less the staining. There is nothing that totally prevents staining. Internal discolorations can be whitened, &\or covered with bonding, veneers or crowns. Discuss issue & resolution with your dentist.

In brief: Yes

Most whitening products either otc or professional will require touch up over time due to fading or extrinsic staining.
A permanent solution could be porcelain such as veneers or crowns. Speak with your dentist to see if these are options for you.
