What does it imply when someone with an eating disorder is simply a teen drama queen?

In brief: Seeking attention

This means they are trying to seek attention.
In reality eating disorders have become extremely common particularly in teenage girls and can easily become a lifelong problem. There are many reasons for this but it is partially related to the constant media promotion of very thin models. This is not healthy and i would not blame the problem on attention seeking but would seek counseling.

In brief: Drama queen-not

Bulimia patients usually feel shamed by the disorder. They do not share "secrets" of their problems with many people.
They are not attention seekers at all.Neither are anorexics, although-less so, because they usually feel empowered by their wt loss basically starvation and exercise. Remember, that bulimics, would rather be anorexics anyday. Both are eating disorders;different characteristics.
