In brief: More complications

This is not a simple answer and depends on the approach to the hysterectomy (large abdominal incision vs small minimally invasive incisions) and the time which the surgery takes.
In general robotic surgery results in the easiest approach in patients who are obese. Overall though risks of blood clots in the legs and lungs and infection is increased in obese individuals and with larger scars.

In brief: Hysterectomy?

Hysterectomy removal of the uterus only.
Sometimes people confuse this with the removal of the uterus and ovaries-but that would be called total hysterectomy with a bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.The removal of both ovaries and fallopian tubes.A patient who has just a hysterectomy usually has minimal complications. But obesity, has potenially more complications esp healing and infecion.Try 2 lose.
