Everybody has a different pain threshhold.
Clearly, a person with a higher pain tolerance will say post-op bunion surgery pain was quite managable. Another important factor is the surgical procedure performed. Some procedures are more involved and therefore have more post-op pain. Either way, your physician should give you the appropriate post-op pain medication based upon these 2 factors.
