How can I help myself, or my child, to manage eczema?

Daily routines. 1. Keep skin moist:daily short bath, moisturizing cream, e.g., triceram 2. Avoidance of irritants:prefer soft cotton clothing to wool, avoid overdressing 3. Avoidance of triggering allergens if known 4. Check with your doctor promptly if secondary skin infection is suspected 5. Consider taking probiotics, e.g. Lactobacillus gg and l. Reuteri.
Eczema. Hard to control, but decrease water exposure, use alot of moisturizers and cortisone cream to itchy areas. Antihistamines can help.
