In brief: Poor circulation

Cmi could mean chronic mesenteric insufficiency .
Ischemia means poor circulation . If it involves the heart it is called myocardial ischemia and if it is the gut it is called mesenteric.

In brief: Gut or heart

Mesenteric ischemia refers to poor blood flow to the intestines causing abdominal pain, diarrhea, blood in the stool and weight loss.
Myocardial ischemia refers to poor blood flow to the heart muscle resulting in chest pain, heart attack, arrhythmias and heart failure. Both conditions are related to atherosclerosis and one condition can predispose to the other.
