In brief: Could be
Easy bruising is defined as bruising without a history of trauma or bruising after minor trauma that would not have caused bruising in the past.
It might be considered normal or could be due to some significant problems. Some medication can increase your risk for bruising i.e. Aspirin, blood thinner, Plavix (clopidogrel) etc. See your doctor and she/he will order simple blood test to evaluate further.

In brief: Check blood
You may have underlying bleeding disorder- several tests needs to be done to determine what you may have- pt/ptt, vonwille brand factor, platelet count, factor8 etc.
Hope you are not taking Aspirin or Coumadin (warfarin) or other mess that can cause easy bruisability.
