In brief: Safe, but effective?
When used appropriately by well-trained homeopathic practitioners, homeopathic remedies are generally safe in children, animals, and adults.
The question would be whether a given remedy is "homeopathic" (similar suffering) enough to your symptoms to be effective. It is not a "this remedy for that sickness" process -- it requires a good look at what's happening with you to pick a helpful remedy.

Absolutely! You do need some training to use homeopathic remedies appropriately. Opening a bottle of Tylenol, etc may be easier.

In brief: Depends
Nightshade contains alkaloids.
This is found in tobacco (nicotiana tabacum) and belladonna, also called deadly nightshade (atropa belladonna). If you don't want to take tyenol, use the safe method of convection cooling by spraying a fine mist of water over the body to lower a fever.
