Pinch your nose. Most nose bleeds occur on thefront part of the septum , the wall between the two sides of your nose. Gently blow blood clot out of your nose. With your thumb on the side of your nose that is bleeding, pinch the front of your nose fairly hard for 10 to 15 minutes. Don't stick anything up you nose. Don't pinch the top of your nose. Lean forward, not backward.
