My beta hCG is 21000 progesteron just 7.No heartbeat still. What does it mean?

? blighted ovum. By the time the HCG reaches 4000 to 6000 there should be fetal development noted on transvaginal ultrasound. With an HCG of 21000 the Progesterone level should be over 9 (and more likely be between 12 to 20)in the first trimester) and there should be fetal heart motion present. The ultrasound should be repeated in about 1 week for confirmation, but the prognosis for this pregnancy is poor.

If you have Progesterone and HCG levels i assume you're seeing an infertility specialist. What do they say? Sometimes people are given extra progesterone. Talk to your doc. Read more...

After IVF failure and after stopping progesteron, if my period did not come what does that mean and can beta hCG test be wrong.?

It can be wrong... Hcg can be wrong (rarely), so i recheck it if a period didn't start 7-10 days from stopping progesterone. More likely, bleeding won't start until the prog. Leaves your system, which can take a week or more, depending on that type of Progesterone you were using and how high your levels were when you stopped. Also, ovarian corpus luteum cysts can make Progesterone and that can prevent a bleed. Read more...
Possible, unlikely. If the result of serum bhcg was negative after ivf, then unlikely to be pregnant. Delay in menstrual period may be related to the hormones that you were producing (if fresh ivf cycle) or were taking (such as Progesterone supplementation). Of course, it's not impossible to spontaneously conceive the month after a treatment cycle either. May take urine preg test and if positive, notify md. Read more...
