I think. "yelling or speaking fast/loud" could precipitate throat irritation and a cough; there's nothing about that that would suggest acid reflux. However, the second set of symptoms...chest pain and "weird stomach burn" could definitely be related to reflux. Would be ok to restrict acid foods (fried food, alcohol, high fat meat/dairy products, caffeine) and try OTC anti-acids for 7-10 days. Then to Doc! Read more...

I've had burning in chest n cough for 3 days n some hoarseness throat raw n like inside chest is could this be acid reflux?

Maybe partly. WHile the burning in the chest could be related to GERD, the other symptoms sound like they could be related to a common cold (viral infection) or seasonal allergies. GERD can cause all the symptoms as well, especially if there is liquid coming all the way up to the throat. OK to try anti-acid meds to see if it helps the burning. See you primary care oif no relief, or worse. Hope this helps! Read more...
