What to do if I can't sleep at night no matter what. Are there any safe medications to resolve my issue?

Melatonin. Melatonin is available over the counter. It is the substance your brain uses to set your biological clock. Take 1/2 to 1 hour before bed time. Stop tv and computer activities 1/2 to 1 hour before trying to go to bed as the light lowers your natural melatonin levels. Avoid afternoon and evening caffeine. Or other stimulants.. See your doctor to discuss other measures and possibly have a sleep.
