In brief: Probably not...

Having a cold sore on you lip, typically a reactivation of your herpes simplex virus, type1.
You already have the antibody to this virus. Generally, this should not be an issue. If, however, you have an overwhelming infection, it may affect your pregancy. Also, if you have lesions on the vaginal areas during birth, your doc may recommend c-section etc... Otherwise, baby should be ok. Good luck.

In brief: No

Cold sores of the mouth/lips are caused by hsv-1 (herpes simplex virus).
They do not pose any risk to the unborn baby. If you are past the first trimester you could ask your ob/gyn doctor to prescribe an antiviral medication for you. You should inform your ob/gyn if you have ever had genital herpes or any other sexually transmitted disease.
