In brief: How long? See MD
Could be gall bladder attack (acute cholecystitis): stone gets stuck trying to pass out of gallbladder; pain, sometimes radiating to back, often with vomiting.
If with fever, datk urine, jaundice-stone in common bile duct and infection. Could be ulcer related, bile duct issues, including tumors (less likely); could be irritable bowel, other bowel issues. Need to see a doc asap.
