I worked out yesterday until my arms were swollen usually the next day I would be sore but I had an all nighter and when I woke up I wasn't sore why?

Don't work out until your muscles are swollen; swelling of skeletal muscle means muscle death could be occurring.
It might feel like your muscles are swollen in which case you're probably sore. You probably weren't sore after an allnighter because you may have been drinking water, much needed anytime you workout. Sounds like you could use some guidance from sports medicine folks.
