In brief: Fatigue, nausea
Early signs include a missed period, nausea, fatigue, breast tenderness.
Some patients experience these symptoms within a day or 2 after a missed period and most by 2 weeks after. Some patients never know they are pregnant until they deliver. Many patients who are not pregnant also have these symptoms. The hormones Progesterone &/or HCG probably cause these symptoms, but nobody really knows.

In brief: Many
When the egg becomes fertilized, a series of hormonal changes occur. The embryo begins making specific hormones too.
These lead to nausea, constipation, breast tenderness, fatigue and no menstrual cycle. Most of the symptoms vary from person to person and with each pregnancy in their severity.
