Staying active without overdoing.
Stretching exercises as tolerated. Non-steroidal antiinflammatories - naproxen, ibuprofen, etc. Comfortable mattress, preferably memory foam, orthopedic one. If not better in 1-2 weeks, see doc. May need stronger pain killers for a short while.
