In brief: CRPS

Reflex sympathic dystrophy (rsd) or complex regional pain syndrome (crps) is a form of chronic pain that usually affects extremity.
Crps typically develops after an injury, surgery, but the pain is out of proportion to the severity of the initial injury.

In brief: Pain

Typically rsd or as it is known, chronic regional pain syndrome.
Will start in an extremity following painful trauma or other stimulus. If the pain initaially is not treated properly and sometimes even if treated appropriately it is nerves in that extremity changing and developing local nerve pain that can be hard to control but is better if treated aggressively and early to prevent progression.
