In brief: Go to your doctor

Without having her seen by a doctor, the cause of her spreading rash is uncertain.
A clue to chicken pox is that lesions on the body are in different stages. For example, some lesions may be red bumps, while others may be pus bumps while others are starting to crust. If all her rash looks the same all over her body, unlikely chicken pox, but it's best to go to doctor as chickenpox is contagious.

In brief: Dew on a rose petal.

Look for fever, malaise, and a rash with fluid-filled pockets (a "vesicle")on a red base that eventually scabs over. This rash can be on either the upper or lower extremities or on the torso.
At any given time, the rash is composed of a mix of vesicles and scabs. Now, if your daughter has a non-blanching red-purple flat dotted rash, a stiff neck, feeling really ill, have her evaluated immediately.
