Is it possible to have a fibrocystic breast cyst with discharge and not be cancer, when it's only in one breast?

In brief: Bloody breast

Discharge is always concerning, milky, greenish are not, clear can be.
Assuming this is about you, given your age, cancer is not likely. If the discharge is white or green, no worries. If bloody or clear, please see your doctor, but still unlikely to be cancer. 1 breast discharge is not uncommon, even when benign.

In brief: Yes very possible

Breast cancer especially ductal cancer usually puts out a diffuse clear or bloody nipple discharge.
Greenish discharge is common and often unilateral with ductal ectasia and fibrocystic breasts. Sometimes it will be so dark it will look almost black. Even women with galacotorrhea (milk production) will sometimes only have it on one side.
