What kind of general vitamin supplements are the best to take? I eat fruits and veggies often. I am young, 19. I don't eat a lot of protein.

In brief: Eat real food

There's no good research that general multivitamins are of any benefit especially for those who eat healthy eg fruits & veggies often.
Eating more protein is a good idea. Depending upon your health goals, aim for 0.5-1g per pound body weight. Look for lean protein, beans, egg whites, fish, chicken etc. You can supplement w/protein shakes but just as w/vitamins, there's no single best brand.

If you spend most of your day indoors and/or apply sunblock when outdoors, consider taking a vitamin D supplement say 1,000 to 2,000 units. Better yet, get tested (check 25OH vitamin D).
