What are the tests that indicate fibroids?

Ultrasound, CT scan. Sometimes fibroids can be detected on pelvic exam, otherwise they are recognized with a pelvic ultrasound, ct scan of the pelvis or MRI of the pelvis.
Ultrasound. Fibroids can be diagnosed on pelvic exam. Often an ultrasound is done to confirm the diagnosis. In some instances a pelvic MRI can be used to gain additional information prior to a surgical procedure to remove them.
