In brief: It will be removed
Ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy outside of the uterus and is generally not sustainable to full term. Moreover, it can cause fallopian tube rupture through an artery and be life threatening under those conditions.
It will be spontaneously expelled, treated with methotrexate, or surgically removed.

In brief: Pregnancy Loss
An ectopic (pregnancy outside of the uterus) will require surgery if not found early.
Unfortunately, most women don't know it's there until there is rupture & bleeding which requires surgery. Without this, bleeding can lead to major hemorrhage & even death. If caught early, Methotrexate can be used. Future pregnancies should be seen early, "ectopic until proven otherwise".
