Are there benefits from monounsaturated fat? I'm eating macadamia nuts, and it has 20g mono & 3.5g saturated fat (24g total fat) per serving.

Good fat... Yes...It is a better type of fat...We need fat in our diet, but unfortunately much of what we get is saturated fat--meaning from animal products. Often from nuts/plants, we get monosurated fat, a good thing. This fat is not as dangerous--not causing much damage to your blood vessels etc...So, monosaturated fat is a better fat to get.
