Hi, my left eye has started twitching/spasms for almost over a week. Doesn't hurt, but very annoying - how can I stop this or do I need to see a doc.?

In brief: Stress

That is not a common symptom of something bad.
It is usually from stress. Some times general stress other times eye fatigue from over use or strain. New glasses may help with the strain. If no other neurological symptoms such as numbness, tingling, weakness, drooping or so on occur then wait it out, relieve stress and see what happens.

In brief: Virus?

These can be very annoying but usually don't signify much, can be a viral infection, fatigue, but you should see your doctor. I don't know where you are in the world, let alone country, sometimes I have found patients with lyme disease have this as a symptom. You should be checked since it has been so persistent.
