Exercise on a regular basis is essential. Even a daily walk is helpful for weight, mental health and stamina.

Regular Exercise and moving towards being someoneone who does a moderate activity level of 5-6 times per week for 30-45 minutes each time is a good goal to shoot for. You don't have to reach that goal overnight. Find an activity you enjoy, and maybe begin 2-3 times per week and do the activity 15-20 minutes each time and slowly build up from there until you reach your goal!

There isn't any real magic to taking good care of yourself.
Eating a balanced and varied diet, with many colorful fruits and vegetables will be a good start. Also, a daily regimen of physical activity will go a long way. Doing these will facilitate a long and vigorous life.

In brief: Diet and exercise
In order to properly care for yourself you need to exercise about 5-6 times per week for at least 30-45 minutes.
This does not have to be vigorous exercise. Simply walking, doing an exercise video, using an exercise video game on wii, xbox360 or kinect suffices as well and is fun. In terms of nutriton, you need to eat healthy (5 servings or more daily of fruits and vegetables) and drink water!
