In brief: Itchy Bumps

It is hard for me to say without looking.
In general, widesprad, aymmetrical, red and itchy bumps tend to be caused by a virus, rather than an allergy. They often hang around for a while, and go away without treatment. If yours have lasted weeks and started to spread, i would advise that you show them to a doctor, since only in that way can you get a definitive diagnosis.
