If you eat something you are allergic to, is it possible you could have a reaction days later?

In brief: Unlikely

Most food reactions occur within 2 hours although red meat reaction (anaphylaxis) may occur up to 6 hours later and wheat possibly 24 hours later.

In brief: Yes

Some reactions are immediate - like anaphylaxis.
Although others are delayed. The delayed reaction is usually due to repeated exposure to the allergen, however.

Most reactions to food occur within 2 hours. Allergy to wheat has been reported to come as late as 24 hrs later. But days later? HIghly unlikely.

Anaphylaxis to red meat (allergy to the alpha gal allergen) can occur several hours later.
