Testicular cancer is a range of diseases consisting of germ cell tumors (develop into sperm) and non-germ cell tumors (the cells support germ cells).
They are most common in the early 20s to mid-30s and are usually discovered as a painless lump in the testis (just one side). Any new lump in the testicle should be evaulated by a doctor. Seminoma, most common, is quite curable.
