In brief: Many

Depends on the age but for infants, they can have puffy face, dull look, thick tongue that sticks out.
For toddlers and children, they can have constipation, dry, brittle skin, poor feeding, short height, sleepiness, fatigue, loss of muscle tone (floppy kids), choking epidodes, low hairline...This is a serious disease with serious lifetime consequences. It's easily checked by a blood test.

Most newborns in this country are tested for this condition at birth. Check with your pediatrician to see if the test was done.

In brief: Hypothyroidism

Congenital hypothyroidism affects the fetus and usually isn't diagnosed until after birth.
Symptoms wouldn't occur in the mother, but in the neonate. Some neonatal symptoms and signs include a puffy face, prolonged jaundice, poor feeding, and constipation, excessive sleeping. Many states screen all babies at birth for congenital hypothyroidism.
