In brief: Very relaxed

You will feel a tingling sensation in your arms and legs.
You may feel warm and feel like you are floating, or loopy, is a very pleasant feeling, very relaxing. You will not feel the novacaine or the dental procedure. The whole thing will feel like it has only been a few minutes. Gas makes dental procedures much easier and is very safe.

In brief: An easy buzz

Laughing gas otherwise known as nitrous oxide is a drug that enters the body through your lungs.
It should "take the edge off" with a relaxed floating feeling. The buzz although not like alcohol should be about the level of a couple of glasses of wine. When it is turned off, you go back to normal quickly and can drive home.
