Are there any non-corticosteroid asthma inhalers for daily maintenance?

In brief: Not antiinflammatory

Long acting beta agonists are used but not without anti-inflammatory corticosteroid inhalers.
Montelukast is a pill with probable anti-inflammatory effects. Either way, the amount of corticosteroid in the inhalers, and especially the amount absorbed is extremely small. I would even use these in a child. Even though these are 'corticosteroids', they should not be feared-asthma is safer using these.
