In brief: Unprotected sex

It's always a good idea to get checked out for sexually transmitted diseases & infections if you participate in unprotected sex.
Better yet, engage in safe (protected) sex only. Go see your doctor (or planned parenthood or county health clinic) who can run appropriate tests. The good news is that by taking birth control pills, you're unlikely to get pregnant but bcps don't prevent stds. Great q!
