In brief: Recovery?

You best resource for the answer to your question is the nephrologist (n) taking care of you.
The questions to ask your n are: do you have acute renal failure? Does your n expect your kidney function to return? If you had acute renal failure, due to drugs that affected the kidney or due to low bp, recovery may be possible. Your n can and should give more information about your prognosis. Good luck.

Chances for kidney recovery are highest in acute kidney failure. If you have chronic kidney disease that slowly worsened over time, chances are very low that they will recover.
