Can I start exercising eventhough I haven't been to my 6 week checkup and I just gave birth a lil over 4 weeks ago?

In brief: Check with your OB

Check with your OB doctor first, before beginning a post-partum exercise program.
A cesarean section, severe perineal lacerations, or other OB complications may require longer healing times.

In brief: Probably

Most women have fairly well completely recovered from the delivery - vaginal of cesarean - by four weeks post-partum. A good rule after four weeks is that you can do anything that does not hurt.
If you are not feeling any pulling, tugging, pain, or pressure with your activities, you are likely safe.
