No medical need..
But linseed oil, derived from flaxseed, is used as topical emolient, laxatives, cough supressant, and even attempt to treat urinary tract infections..But no clinical trials to supporting its use...Some people may get the benefits...Others may not... But small amount does not cause much harm.. Good luck, if you are using it..
