Is pedialyte better than coconut water and gatorade when someone has gastric flu / stomach flu?

Yes. Pedialyte is formulated with just the right amounts of fluids and electrolytes to replace what you need. Coconut water has almost no electrolytes, and many of the gatorades have way to much sugars for use in gastroenteritis. However, with an adult or older child, any fluids are better than none and resultant dehydration.
