I have had a swollen knee for about a month now. Very sniff when i first wake up and hard to bend an straighten. Had X-ray but said it was fine.

There clinical picture is not consistent with lupus. It is consistent with gout, pseudogout, Lyme disease and Reiter's syndrome. A rheumatologist is the appropriate physician in this case.

I agree with Dr. Krauser: actually If I were an internist I would have referred him to rheumatologiy. I didn't want 2 bypass Family MD.
