In brief: Healthy lifestyle
Lead a healthy lifestyle - avoid anything that may compromise your immune system - smoking, excessive drinking, maintain good exercise routine and weight.
If there is such an outbreak, you will need to exercise standard precautions - frequent handwashing, avoiding congested areas or those areas where incidence of it is high. Wearing a mask may not be a bad idea either.

In brief: Stay away
Sars is a virus which is spread by coughing or sneezing.
If we have another outbreak stay away from infected people. Wash your hands frequently too. Infected people are likely to be quarintined.
