Inflammation is just a generic term..
If you have eczema, it is inflammation of skin. If you have acne, it is inflammation of your hair follicles. If you have allergies to pollens, it is inflammation of your nasal mucosae etc...Rheumatoid arthritis and lupus are entirely different than examples above and require specialized treatments etc... So, it is best to know which disease you have...
