In brief: Gastritis

Asthma, gastritis, and sinusitis can all trigger activity of the vagus nerve which controls bronchial secretions, nasal secretions and stomach acid.
It is suggested to treat the stomach acid and control the asthma. The warm flashes can be due to activity of the vagus nerve or fever from bronchial infection.
