More than likely infection of wound would be the result and also one should be up to date with tetanus as well.

In brief: Local inflamation
Some bites will draw blood and cause local tissue damage; others will be hardly noticible.
Redness, some swelling are the most common effects but if the bite becomes warm and/or painful, infection could be developing and medical treatment would be required. Also, tetanus status should be known and evaluated and treated if necessary.
