Bacterial vaginosis is very dificult to correct once someone has the infection.
It is an acute or chronic discord of the natural bacteria in the vagina. Once the process gets established it can be difficult to revert. Taking the prescribed antibiotics followed by strong probiotics to replenish the oxygen loving bacteria in the vagina is helpful and if taken long enough can work.
