Does sodium which is found naturally in foods like carrots still considered bad sodium like table salt? (for CKD patients)

Let's define "salt" Jake, table salt is not "bad" any more than glucose is bad. Table salt is sodium chloride, but sodium can be bound to many anions to form other "salts' such as sodium citrate, for instance, which is a preservative. So it is really the total amount of sodium consumed in your foods that is important especially if you have kidney disease. Count grams of sodium per serving, not salt per se.
