I've been feeling more tired and have some confusion. When should I see the doctor?

In brief: Tired and confused

You should see a doctor as soon as these symptoms interfere with your job, or any other relaionships that are important to you.

In brief: Clarify?

Feeling fatigued, and slow, may be a thyroid disorder. When a patient reports their own confusion, it's often more of a thought delay.
Could be many causes. Other symptoms? Fever, feeling cold, dizziness, headache, visual changes? Stay objective and write all your symptoms down (along with how long you've had them). See your doctor, a clinic, or get to the emergency department.

In brief: Now

You have concerning symptoms that could be caused by one of many illnesses, some of which are serious and could lead to long-term disability or death.
Proper medical evaluation is necessary for a correct diagnosis and proper treatment. Many times it is a transient, self-limited condition and will resolve on its own. But for many proper treatment is critical.

In brief: Tomorrow

It is imperative that an underlying metabolic condition be ruled out with some simple blood tests.
If this doesn't reveal a possible cause for the issue, then neurological evaluation needs to be instituted as well, including possible ct of the head or an mri.
